DescriptionThis WWII German Battlepack Ammunition Box Patronen Platzpatronen Wooden Tip Blank Rounds is a reproduction.  The box is empty of ammo.Platzpatronen literally means blank bullet. The pink label helps denote these as blank rounds.  However, the Platz Patronen rounds are probably better known as the infamous German wooden bullets.Created as a disposable alternative to wood or metal boxes, this Battlepack Ammo Box fits into a master crate of 1500 rounds.  The box contains a cardboard stabilizer, but the Battlepack can hold 20 of the 15 Round Platzpatronen Wooden Tip Cartridge Boxes, which are sold separately.Our WWII German Ammunition Box has a layered sleeve box with the strap threaded through it and the top and bottom pieces.  The label on the battle pack should match the label on the ammo cartridges.This purchase is for ONE German Reproduction Battlepack Box.  We have included side by side pictures of our reproduction next to our original for your viewing.
