DescriptionThis WWII German Battlepack Ammunition Box Patronen SS Brass Rounds is a reproduction.  The box is empty of ammo.The Patronen SS ball round (7.92×57) was introduced in 1933 to replace the original WWI, 1903 Patronen S round.  The all-white label indicates that these boxes contained brass shells.Created as a disposable alternative to wood or metal boxes, this Battlepack Ammo Box fits into a master crate of 1500 rounds.  The box contains a cardboard stabilizer, but the Battlepack can hold 20 of the 15 Round SS Brass Cartridge Boxes, which are sold separately.Our WWII German Ammunition Box has a layered sleeve box with the strap threaded through it and the top and bottom pieces.  The label on the battle pack should match the label on the ammo cartridges.This purchase is for ONE German Reproduction Battlepack Box.  We have included side by side pictures of our reproduction next to our original for your viewing.
