Dobbyn Brick Sand is used when a light coloured mortar is desired. The standard blend for mortar is 6 parts sand to 1 part cement and 1 part hydrated lime. 1 cubic metre of sand will be enough to lay 1,000 bricks and will require 8-10 bags of cement.Ideal Use: Rendering, bricklaying, stone/block work.
